Jotters from Scrap Paper

I used to buy jotters before I had a go at making them. You could have a go yourself...if you wanted to... Make yourself some 'proper' jotters from scrap paper... Scrap Paper Jotter Pads Go on... you know you want to... :)

Doll House

I really like pop up cards and books. So naturally slot together type things appeal to me too. My parcel arrived from China. ...anticipation... ...too yummy... EEK! No English instructions. Just numbers. Plenty good enough for me. Was easy to put together once I got the hang of it. Pieces push out easily. You get a couple of tiny pieces of sandpaper - which is plenty for the project - it was hardly needed. Some pieces like window awnings were 'helped' along by white glue. ...close ups... ...and the aftermath... ...lots of goodies for my arty goings on...either that or really small kindling for the fire. :)

Red Zebra

A while ago I got a request from David Ker to use one of my images as a logo. I looked at the link provided, thought 'What a wonderful thing that is' and said 'Sure'. Some time later he got back to me thanking me...like this... ...oh wow!...all the way from the USA... ...the graphic on the card belongs to Lamb Chamberlin... ...close up of my graphic...embroidered...turned out very nicely indeed... ...back of card... Check out the Red Zebra Project - a very noble cause, fantastic works going on... am proud to be involved even though in a small way. Thanks David & crew... If you want to help you can donate some pingas or talents (come on you artists!)

Happy Mummys' Day

Happy Mummys' Day to all the Mummys (don't want to spell it 'Mummies')... and all the other type of mummys what are daddies, aunties, uncles, nannas, grandads, friends, adoptives and caregivers... Happy Mummys' Day to my daughters... Thanks for the joy... xxx...

Ribbed Beanie & Sorting Stuff

I am so meant to be sorting the house out, but I've got the computer clunking away and am going through my art and craft gears (priority people!) Decided that this year I'm going to do something creative everyday, no matter what happens - even if it might be something really tiny like a sketch or doodle. Going to make myself important and make sure I get five minutes (minimum) for me. The New Zealand Crafters over at Card Making World have a few challenges going on where you get to swap your crafting efforts with others in this fair land - a Monthly Card challenge with themes, ATCs, and a new Fat Book swap - should be interesting. Got a pattern for a ribbed beanie craft sheet over at Stationery Warehouse, it's a quick-ish kind of knit and will fit heads from toddler to small woman size. Go grab it. Heeerrrreee 'tis :)
